step installation in campus backbones with self-supporting
installations where metallic messengers cannot be used. The
loose tube design provides stable performance over a wide
temperature range and is compatible with any
telecommunications-grade optical fiber.
SMF-28e+® optical fiber, a reliable and quality option, is one of the most widely deployed fibers in the world. This single-mode optical fiber is compliant with ITU-T G.652.D and features a 9.2 µm mode field diameter for backward compatibility with legacy networks.
